A Cook’s Beet, Inc was founded in 2017 with the goal of providing clients with healthy food options full of flavor. We offer catering, private chef services, dinner parties, and cooking classes. While using fresh ingredients, our personal approach allows us to make wholesome and healthy recipes, tailored specifically to meet your culinary needs. We plan, shop, and cook for you so your mind can be at ease and all that’s left for you to do is clean your plate!
Hi! – My name is Ashley Cook (I know-fortunate name for a chef). I’m a neonatal nurse practitioner who decided to take the plunge and go to culinary school!
I graduated from the International Culinary Center at the top of my class, along with multiple head chef recommendations. I am co-founder of Souterrian Supper Club, a company that specializes in gourmet dinner parties in the tristate area. Following my culinary school graduation, I accepted a position as a private chef and caterer at a NYC catering company. After putting in extensive time as a private chef to local clients in the NYC area, I decided to branch out and start my own business: A Cook’s Beet, Inc.
I have always had a passion for food and for cooking and I believe my experience as a medical provider and chef allows me to bring healthy yet flavorful options to the table.
Danielle graduated from the International Culinary Center at the top of her class. She began her culinary adventures working under Michelin star rated chef April Bloomfield. This led her to accept a position running her own kitchen which specialized in dietary restrictions and allergy prone cuisines. She has worked as both a private chef and caterer, and in 2017 she joined A Cook’s Beet as a head chef.
